Angel's Attic - Upscale Resale
Hope Cambodia

Angels' Attic partnered with Joyce Meyer Ministries to fund a Community Center and feeding programs in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. This Community Center is operated by a local trained minister and acts as a church, school, feeding center and orphanage. At the grand opening celebration, more than 70 children were already enrolled in school, and 12 orphans were living in the Center. Two representatives from Angels' Attic (Pat Quirin & Leanne Clift) were present for the Grand Opening on Aug. 9, 2007. The appreciation on the faces of the Cambodian locals, children and orphans made all the hard work so worthwhile.

Joyce Meyer's "Hope Cambodia" brought exactly what this country needs - hope and courage in Jesus Christ. Cambodia is a nation still living in the shadow of a 1970s genocide, where more than 2 million people were brutally murdered.

Costa Rica Missionary Support

Angels' Attic continues to partner with Judith & Rod Streng from Beulah Ministries to support a place of refuge for girls in Costa Rica (called Hogar Beulah, or "Home of the Redeemed"). Hogar Beulah is located on 4.75 acres in rural San Isidro, Heredia in Costa Rica - just 30 minutes from the capitol, San Jose. Here, the girls are provided with love, protection and security in a family environment. Many of these girls would literally be on the street otherwise. The "house parents" at Hogar Beulah are pastors for a local church, and raise the girls according to Biblical principles. Girls that might have no future otherwise are given a second chance at life and are introduced to Jesus Christ.

Hurricane Katrina Families Supported
Hurricane Katrina Families Supported

Angels' Attic had been preparing to open the resale shop (and had an entire warehouse full of merchandise) when Hurricane Katrina hit. 750 people flew into the local Hilton hotel, and local churches stepped up to help these hurting families. Angels' Attic quickly decided that it was more important to give the merchandise to the families who had lost everything than to open the resale shop. So, the women of Angels' Attic sponsored 19 families. Within 3 months, they donated or purchased every single item that these families would need and got them set up in housing. By the time this was over, they now had 2 WAREHOUSES FULL OF MERCHANDISE! They quickly learned that "you can't outgive God!"

Touch A Life, Vietnam

Angels' Attic supports "Touch a Life Ministries", a ministry division of the Final Frontiers Foundation. Final Frontiers Foundation supports national preachers who are starting new churches in areas that are primarily closed to foreign missionaries. They have started more than 24,000 new churches around the world. As these ministries expanded, they saw the need to take care of orphaned and abandoned children. The women of Angels' Attic were moved by their care and love for hopeless children and wanted to help.
